A ceremony was hosted yesterday in Hanoi to announce the 2015 list of 1000 largest corporate income taxpayers in Vietnam (V1000).
Total tax amount paid by V1000 businesses reached VND82.34 trillion (US$3.72 billion), increasing 2.34 percent over the previous year and accounting for 10 percent of budget revenue.
Of them, top 10 biggest taxpayers contributed over VND50 trillion (US$2.26 billion) accounting for over 60 percent of total cooperate income tax paid by companies under the V1000 list.
Vietnam Military Telecom Group (Viettel) continued leading the list. Last year, its revenue was reported to reach VND197 trillion (US$8.89 billion) and pre-tax profit hit VND42 trillion (US$1.9 billion), a year on year increase of 20 percent and 15 percent respectively.
