77 businesses win 2015 National Quality Awards

The Ministry of Science and Technology and the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality announced the list of 77 businesses winning the 2015 National Quality Awards in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The annual event is the sole state award presented by the Prime Minister and among the system of the International Asia-Pacific Quality Awards (IAPQA).

Last year, 78 enterprises from 37 provinces and cities registered to attend the program, only one was substandard for the award.

Of the winners, 20 will receive gold award and 57 win silver award at a ceremony in Hanoi on April 10 when three winners of IAPQAs will also be honored.

A total of 1,690 businesses have been awarded under the program since 1996 and 37 Vietnamese companies have obtained IAPQAs since 2000.
