A big chance for VN’s exporters

At the conference, the Ministry of Trade and Industry affirmed that opening door for the Eurasian market will bring big chances for Vietnamese exporters.

Representative leaders of Ministry of Trade and Industry stressed that Vietnam is the first FTA partner signed between the EAEU and an external partners being Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan and Armenia which will open a big opportunity for Vietnam with 90 percent of tariff and tax reduction.

The conference is considered as a part of events having been implemented by Ministry of Trade and Industry to improve the enterprises benefiting advantages from the Vietnam- EAEU free trade Agreement.

In 2015, two-way trade relations between the two sides reached at US$ 3. 6 billion, an increase of six percent compared to 2014. However,  cargo exportation turnover of Vietnam to European Union was estimated by 1. 1 percent over total import of the union, and import cargo turnover of Vietnam from European Union reached 0. 5 percent over total export turnover of the union.
