ADB pledges to support Vietnam with US$ 1, 2 billion yearly

Governor of State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh yesterday had a meeting with Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director for Vietnam Eric Sidgwick in Hanoi on the occasion of his new term in Viet Nam.
 
At the meeting, the governor affirmed that State Bank of Vietnam would create best conditions as well as provide assistance for Eric Sidgwick’s new term.
 
The Vietnamese Government and State Bank have paid tribute as well as developed comprehensive relations between Vietnam and the bank, stressed the governor.
 
Mr. Eric Sidgwick also appreciated assistance policies of the Vietnamese government and State Bank in previous years in order to stabilize macroeconomics, promote economic growth and minimize global economic instability. He expressed his desire to work together closely with Vietnam for effectively using US$ 1, 2 billion per year from ADB loan in the 2016- 2018 period.
