Durian price in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has seen a year-on-year rise of 20 percent since the early harvest.
 

Bumper crop, durian price in Dak Lak province hits record

Farmers in the province are harvesting the fruit. In the early harvest, traders proposed buying the fruit at VND46,000 a kilogram in Krong Pac District.
As per the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Krong Pac District, farmers grow the fruit in 1,000 hectare of land. This year, it is bumper crop and high quality thanks to favorable weather. Farmers can earn profit of around VND1 billion a hectare.

VN-Index rockets to near 926 points this morning

After increasing 13 points to exceed 900 points on the previous session, VN-Index continued raising 21.27 points this morning to hit 924.89 points with a slew of major stocks advancing in the HCMC Stock Exchange.
