Durian price in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has seen a year-on-year rise of 20 percent since the early harvest.

Farmers in the province are harvesting the fruit. In the early harvest, traders proposed buying the fruit at VND46,000 a kilogram in Krong Pac District.
As per the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Krong Pac District, farmers grow the fruit in 1,000 hectare of land. This year, it is bumper crop and high quality thanks to favorable weather. Farmers can earn profit of around VND1 billion a hectare.
