City to host International Furniture, Home Accessories Fair

The 5th International Furniture and Home Accessories Fair (VIFA 2012) will be held at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Conventional Centre in District 7 in Ho Chi Minh City from March 11-14.

VIFA 2012 will feature around 600 display booths of 125 local and international enterprises featuring a wide range of furniture, handicrafts, equipment and tools for wood processing.

The event is being organised by the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA).

According to HAWA, 16 local experts from wood processing businesses travelled to Italy for two and a half months to learn about design, marketing and production management.

The association will organise training courses in the country for insiders in coming time.
