Dung Quat Oil Refinery sells first batch of jet fuel

Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Co. Ltd (BSR) presented and exported the first batch of jet fuel, produced by Vietnam’s first oil refinery, Dung Quat, on August 10.

Earlier, PetroVietnam Oil Corp, which is in charge of consuming Dung Quat’s products, and BSR, successfully negotiated to sell the first 4,500 tons of Jet-A1 jet fuel to BP Singapore Pte. Ltd.

They also agreed to sell this kind of fuel to Shell Group.

Presently, Dung Quat Oil Refinery has imported 5.3 million tons of crude oil, produced more than 4.6 million tons of several kinds of fuel and sold more than 4.4 million tons. The company’s revenues have topped more than VND48 trillion.
