Mr. Jun said that the investment trend of RoK businesses in Vietnam has strongly developed. Their investment capital in the country has so far amounted to US$32.4 billion, just after Japan with US$36 billion.

In 2013-2014 alone, RoK took the lead in foreign investment capital in Vietnam, he said.

Bilateral trade between the two counties hit US$28.3 billion last year and is believed to top US$30 billion this year. It might approach US$70 billion by 2020 when the VN-RoK free trade agreement takes effect, he said.
