Cooking gas prices increase VND 2,300 per kg

Gasoline enterprises in HCMC announced starting August 1, the price of gasoline will be adjusted with a hike of VND 2,300 per kg (included VAT), equal to VND 27,000 for a 12kg canister compared with the previous month.

This is the third price adjustment this year.

Saigon Petro said it would list retail price for cooking gas at VND 305,000 per 12kg canister on August 1.

The increase is a result of a rise of world gas price in August, which is estimated to reach US$ 440 per ton, an increase of US$ 85 per ton compared with the previous month.
