First Slaughter Factory Reaches HACCP System Standards

On an area of 2.3 hectares in the Bien Hoa Loteco Industrial Zone in Dong Nai Province, Unitek Enterprise Company has built a 4,000 square meter slaughter factory equipped with a French production line.

This factory has an output capacity of 45,000 products per shift and meets ISO 9001-2000 quality standards. It is also the first slaughter factory that meets Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system standards.

Every day, the factory slaughters about 30,000 domestic fowls and processes from 2,000 to 4,000 domestic animals for many products provided to supermarkets and shops in HCMC.

Unitek Enterprise Company is investing in opening many shops providing fresh chicken, processed chicken and about 20 flavors of instant chicken products.

For food safety standards, Unitek Enterprise Company will close the line from raising chicken to delivering products. At present, it owns three farms with 90,000 chickens each in Dong Nai Province.
