Number of newly established companies increases

In the first eight months of the year, Vietnam totaled 85,357 nationwide newly established companies with a total registered capital of VND 822. 1 trillion, increased 16.3 percent in number and 44.8 percent in registered capital in comparison with the same period of last year.

Accordingly, total additional capital reached up to VND 1.9 million. 

The number of newly established companies sharply increased in the various fields compared with the same period of 2016; especially, around 3, 156 real estate enterprises registered to establish with total capital of VND 217.1 trillion, up 65.8 percent in enterprises and 62.8 percent in registered capital. 

The fields of finance, banking and insurance ranked the second position with 966 enterprises with total registered capital up to VND 18.4 trillion, an increase of 33.4 percent in number and 50 percent in the capital. 

The third position is education and training, health and social activities. 
On the other hand, the fields of mining, agriculture, forestry and aquatic, information and communications, logistic decreased over the same period of last year.
