The remainder was VND2,389 billion on January 1 and exceeded VND2,864 billion at the end of March 31.
In the first quarter, contribution amount by businesses to the fund totaled VND1,207 billion, spending hit VND780 billion and interest revenue reached VND3 billion.
Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group had the largest remainder with VND2 trillion.
