Viet Nam-Slovak Business Forum Held to Boost Cooperation

The Viet Nam and Slovakia Business Forum was held this morning at the Viet Nam Chamber for Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Ha Noi with the participation of the visiting Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic and about 100 businesses of the two countries.

The forum is aimed at strengthening economic co-operative relations between Viet Nam and Slovakia, as well as between organizations and businessmen of the two countries.

Addressing the forum, Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic said his government will create a favorable environment and policy for trade and investment activities of Vietnamese enterprises, especially those who are working and living in Slovak.

The president also asked the VCCI to cooperate closely with the Slovak’s Chamber of Commerce in the capital city of Bratislava in exchanging market information so that businesses of the two countries could enhance the bilateral trade relation in the near future.

Before that, Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic led his delegation to visit the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) and lay a wreath at the Monument of War Martyrs in Ha Noi.
