Vietnam has nearly 7,000 businesses in 2014

Statistics show that there are 78,842 newly-established businesses in Vietnam in 2014 with total registered capital of VND432 trillion, down 2.7 percent in the number of businesses but up 8.4 percent in the amount of registered capital compared to the previous year.

However, the number of businesses that faced difficulties and had to dissolve or temporarily halt operation or ended operation in 2014 was 67,823 cases. Therefore, the total number of valid businesses in 2014 was around 7,000 businesses higher than that in 2013.

Moreover, 15,419 businesses across the country that once faced difficulties have resumed operation.
