European businesses keen to increase investment in Vietnam

According to the Business Climate Index (BCI) survey by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) released on January 22, European firms show higher confidence and expectations in their business prospects and in Vietnam.

52 percent of the respondents have good business situation; 33 percent presenting an average business situation; and 8-10 percent showing a bad state for business.

41 percent of the respondents plan to increase their investment. Few enterprises are afraid of inflation rate.

60 percent of the respondents said that inflation will slightly effect on their business; 17 percent of enterprises believed it will make a great impact on trading; the remaining businesses thought that inflation will not act on them.
