The Handbook, "Exporting to Finland," provides an overview of the Finnish market, business practices, as well as the rules and regulations.

The book also list several reasons why Vietnamese businesses should consider Finland as a destination for their products.

The handbook, printed in Vietnamese and English, includes information on Finland as an export market, legal requirements, private sector standards and codes, export price to retail price, among others.

The Finnish ambassador to Vietnam, Pekka Hyvönen, introduced the handbook, pointing out that challenging economic times and new situations also make an excellent opportunity to explore new markets and new partners.

It is also important to remember that trade relations are a two-way street. Both exports and imports have a role to play and they are equally needed. Vietnam has potentially a lot to offer Finnish consumers, he added.

The book is free and can be had from the Finnish Embassy, 31 Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi.

It can also be downloaded free at:
