Viet Thang Long An Company held an inauguration ceremony of the plant with the capacity of 600,000 tons a year in the area of 6.8 hectare.
Only six employees take turn to work in eight hours to produce 800 tons of products.
Speaking at the ceremony with the participation of former President Truong Tan Sang and leaders of the province, Chairman of Long An People’s Committee Tran Van Can said that inhabitants in the province exhilarate at the operation of the plant.
He added Long An Province particularly and the Mekong delta generally have strength of husbandry but because of high price of animal feed, they can’t compete with other countries in the region.
Therefore, the operation of the animal feed plant using European standard will help the husbandry sector to compete with others, he said.
