Gas price increases for second consecutive month

Retail gas prices yesterday started increasing by VND1,583 a kilogram or VND19,000 a 12 kilogram cylinder over October, announced gas businesses in HCMC.

That is the second consecutive month of the gas price increase totaling VND34,000 a cylinder to swing around VND293,500-302,000.

Gas distributors said that the raise accorded with the world gas price which has hiked US$60 over October to hit $415 a ton.
