The 7th fair has attracted nearly 200 domestic and international enterprises with around 350 display booths, presenting products in various fields, such as restaurant, hotel, electronic and electric appliance, wood furniture, home decoration, IT, food processing, textile and garment , footwear, medicine, cosmetics and among.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of Da Nang City, Mr. Tran Van Mien stressed that the 1,450 km East-West Economic Corridor linking 13 provinces and cities in four ASEAN nations -Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Viet Nam, has promoted cooperation among localities and created advantages for trade, investment, economic an tourism development.
The expo is also an opportunity for East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) localities and enterprises to get together and look for business opportunities, investment cooperation; and representatives of countries that have diplomatic ties with Da Nang to introduce their potentials and strong points to the city.
The fair will run until August 16.
