Japanese business invests US$34 million in Vietnam

IHI Construction Machinery Corporation on Tuesday inaugurated the US$34 million steel structure plant IHI Infrastructure Asia at Dinh Vu Industrial Zone, the northern city of Hai Phong.
The plant will become the main supplier of steel structures and construction machines for the corporation’s key bridge and thermal electricity projects globally.
Its annual output will reach 9,000 ton steel. Fifty percent of this will be for export.
Previously, the company had built a plant in Hai Phong, supplying main products for Nhat Tan Bridge project.
