The meeting attracted more than 100 representatives who are members of BAOOV, the Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HUBA), the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Women Entrepreneurs (HAWEE) and municipal relevant departments.
Participants’ discussions focused on practical contributions to the connectivity solutions in the Industry 4.0 to implement the city's seven breakthrough programs; improving the quality of growth and economic competitiveness; supporting the business community and overseas Vietnamese businesses to strengthen connection and cooperation for the common development.
Vietnamese businesses have not approached the application of information technology which  is growing as a field of study around the world and serves as an important role for all aspects of the modern world. As a result, Vietnamese goods usually faces price squeeze from foreign importers. Intermediate members are able to enjoy the benefits.
Enterprises should strengthen connection with associations and professional database providers to promote their information to partners and make direct negotiations on products.
A signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between BAOOV and HUBA, HAWEE was also held at the conference, aiming at implementing connection solutions and promoting the coordination to bring Vietnamese products to foreign markets.
