The Mövenpick Hotel Saigon is running a meeting promotion at a low rate of just US$1 per participant, valid to the end of this September.

The cost includes venue, lunch and coffee breaks. However, guests are supposed to book minimum of 10 rooms at any corporate or internet rate.
Located in Ho Chi Minh City’s Phu Nhuan District, the five-star hotel is within 10 minutes by car from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
The hotel is managed by Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, a group with roots in Switzerland and being expanding around the world.
In related news, a Mekong Power Summit is scheduled to take place at the hotel on June 4-5, bringing together experts to focus on different issues.
The issues include Government policies to optimize private sector participation; investments opportunities and challenges facing independent power producers in Vietnam and Asia; power purchase agreement and legal requirements for energy export within the Mekong region.
The conference will also discuss security of fuel supply from gas to coal to renewable energy, options in project financing, alternative financing methods, the role of Laos as “Battery of Asia”, cost competitiveness of developing biomass/biogas to power projects, and other issues.
The conference organizer is the Singapore-based Centre for Management Technology, a provider of global technology and business information in the petrochemical industry through conferences focusing on renewable energy sources.
