New Products Developed from Coconut Waste

Over 20 coconut waste product items have been exported to foreign markets

Kim Boi Fine Art and Handicraft Company presented its new products, made of coconut fiber, to be used in landslide-prone areas and in painting workshops on Sunday.

So far, the company has exported over 20 items to some big markets like the US, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey.

Reportedly, the company has set up one more factory in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre, home to the coconut trees, to have a rich source of material for the production.

The company has earned an export turnover of more than USD100,000 since early 2006.
