PM calls for improving investment climate

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has called on ministries, other agencies, and local authorities to improve business environment to attract foreign investors.

In a decree on international integration, he said they should guarantee safety for investors, speed up the restructure of the public sector, and encourage private business activities and cooperation between them and state-run firms.

He also said they should closely monitor public debt, draft policies to develop a “green” economy, promote the image of Vietnam and its people and country, especially its hospitality to visitors.
