Saigon Co.op to open 100th supermarket

Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives (Saigon Co.op) has said that it will open the 100th supermarket this month, taking the total number of retail outlets to 600.

The system now receives about one million of customers and visitors a day.
Besides the major retail system of Co.opMart supermarkets, Saigon Co.op has developed many modern retail models such as Co.opXtra, Sense City, SCVivoCity, Co.op Food, 24h Cheers and HTV Co.op.
Mr. Do Tan Huy, marketing manager of Saigon Co.op, said that the system has mainly distributed locally made subsidized products.
