China’s Shenzhen Airlines on Monday celebrated the first-ever air service from Shenzhen to Viet Nam when its Boeing 737-700 left for Ho Chi Minh City Monday.
The company’s new Shenzhen-Ho Chi Minh City route is expected to enhance exchange between the two municipalities.
Flights will depart Shenzhen at 7:50 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, with return flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, taking off at 8 am from Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport.
The airfare costs CNY1,300 (US$163) one way and CNY2,200 (US$276) return.
Shenzhen Airlines says the carrier, established in 1992, has a fleet of 32 Boeing 737 and four Airbus aircraft, and is operating over 100 domestic and international routes at the moment.
