State Bank of Vietnam raises alarm on Int’l credit card fraud

The State Bank of Vietnam has asked the Vietnam Bank Credit Card Association to find effective ways to prevent international credit card frauds.

Police detected some persons who seduced others to register credit cards at banks in Vietnam which they then bought and used for scam transactions abroad.

State Bank of Vietnam has asked payment service providers to strictly control opening of accounts, card issuing process, new card transactions abroad and strengthen customer identification procedures.
