Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company (SCR) announced that it will close the list of shareholders on June 28 to pay dividends for the year 2010 by shares at a ratio of 30 percent.

Saigon Machinery Spare Parts Joint Stock Company (SMA) will close the list of shareholders on June 25 to convert VND80.6 billion of convertible bonds issued in July 2010 into shares at a ratio of 1:10 on July 1.

PVI Holdings (PVI) will close the list of shareholders on June 29 to pay dividends for second term of 2011 and advance 7 percent of dividends for the first term of this year in cash on September 27.

Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) announced that Hanoi Securities Company, SME Securities Corporation, Truong Son Securities Company, and Dong Duong Securities Inc. will not pilot the market order trading because their membership at HOSE had ended. Kenanga Vietnam Securities Corporation and National Securities Inc. will join the pilot program at the end of July. Market order trading will be piloted in three months, starting from July 2.

Saigon Tourist Transport Corporation (STT) has been put into warning status for constantly violating regulations on information disclosure. The company got revenue of VND9.9 billion in the first quarter of this year, a drop of more than VND5 billion over the same period last year, and its pre-tax profit dropped to VND4.73 million from VND59.8 million of the same period last year.

Electronics Communications Technology Investment Development Corporation (ELC) has just signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense to provide eye sea system costing nearly VND70 billion. In the first four months of this year, ELC gained net profit of VND31 billion, and earning VND1,041 per share.

SSI Investment Member Fund, a shareholder of Binh Thanh Import Export Production and Trade Joint Stock Company (GIL), registered to buy 500,000 shares from June 25 to July 27, increasing its ownership to 510,000 shares, or 4.22 percent stake, to restructure its investment portfolio.

Lam Thieu Quan, CEO of Innovative Technology Development Corporation (ITD) will inherit 128,973 shares, increasing his holdings to 500,102 shares from June 25 to July 27. He currently holds 3 percent stake in the company.

Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) whose capital represented by Do Van Nhan, chairman of General Forwarding & Agency Corporation (GMD), registered to sell all 180,011 shares between June 22 and July 20 to restructure portfolio.

Vinalines also registered to sell 400,000 shares of Viet Nam Container Shipping Joint Stock Company (VSC) from June 25 to July 25, cutting its ownership to 24,860 shares, to restructure portfolio.

From June 22 to July 22, Nguyen Khanh Hung, member of the Board of Directors cum deputy director-general of Dat Xanh Real Estate Service and Construction Corporation (DXG), registered to sell 25,000 shares, reducing his ownership to 123,844 shares, or 0.39 percent stake, for personal need.

SSI Investment Member Fund whose deputy CEO is Nguyen Thanh Tung, vice chairman of Southern Seed Joint Stock Company (SSC), registered to buy 200,000 shares from June 25 to July 24, increasing its holdings to 210,000 shares, or 1.42 percent stake, to restructure investment portfolio.

Gia Dinh Real Estate Company, a major shareholder of Binh Thanh Import Export Production and Trade Joint Stock Company (GIL), failed to sell 1 million shares registered to sell from April 19 to June 19 due to unmatched prices. Currently, Gia Dinh Real Estate Company holds 629,940 shares of GIL or 5.22 percent stake.

From April 19 to June 19, Thanh My Garment Company, a major shareholder of Binh Thanh Import Export Production and Trade Joint Stock Company (GIL), failed to sell 1 million shares due to unmatched prices. Currently, Thanh My Garment Company holds 603,011 shares of GIL or 5 percent stake.

From April 18 to June 19, Nguyen Thanh Nghia, member of the Board of Directors of Ben Tre Aqua Product Import and Export Joint Stock Company (ABT), registered to buy 1 million shares and sold 1 million to restructure his portfolio but failed to do transactions due to unmatched prices. From April 23 to June 18, Nguyen Van Khoa, chairman cum CEO of Mien Dong Joint Stock Company (MDG), bought 50,000 shares, raising his ownership to 280,869 shares, or 2.58 percent stake.

Le Huong Giang, sister of Le Ha Giang, chairwoman cum CEO of Long Giang Investment and Urban Development Joint Stock Company (LGL), sold 73,680 shares out of 200,000 shares registered to sell from March 28 to May 27, and bought none of 500,000 shares registered to buy due to unmatched prices. She holds 160,520 shares, or 0.8 percent stake.

Lam Dong Investment Hydraulic Construction Joint Stock Company (LHC), whose chairman cum CEO is Le Dinh Hien, chairman of Lam Dong Minerals and Building Materials Joint Stock Company (LBM), bought 154,000 shares between June 1 and 19, increasing its holdings to 1,600,006 shares, or 19.6 percent stake, for investment.

On May 14, Nguyen Thanh Loan, daughter of Nguyen Thanh Nghia, member of the Board of Directors of Ben Tre Aqua Product Import and Export Joint Stock Company (ABT), net sold 17,790 shares after she sold 17,790 shares and bought no shares out of 100,000 shares registered earlier due to unfavorable market conditions. After the sale, she reduced her holding to 2 shares from earlier holding of 17,792 shares or 0.16 percent stake in the company.

Vietnam Rubber Finance Company, a major shareholder of Pacific Property & Infrastructure Development and Investment Joint Stock Company (PPI), sold 549,810 shares from June 13 to 15, lowering its ownership to 659,702 shares, or 5.4 percent stake, to restructure its investment portfolio.

Foreign Trade Development and Investment Corporation of Ho Chi Minh City (FDC) announced that it assigned Tran Duc Ngu as member of the Board of Directors.
