The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) has received a registration file for first listing of more than 2.81 billion shares of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BID) on the city bourse. The bank with a charter capital of VND28.11 trillion carried out initial public offering in December 2011 and successfully sold 84.7 million shares at highest bid of VND35,000 per share, and lowest bid at VND18,500 per share. This is the second time BID has submitted registration file for listing to HOSE.

Domesco Medical Import Export Joint Stock Corporation (DMC) announced that it will close the list of shareholders on November 14 to advance dividends for the first term of 2013 in cash at a ratio of 15 percent on December 5, and collect suggestions of its shareholders in writing on share issuance at a ratio of 2:1 in the first quarter of 2014, using share surplus by June 30, 2013.

Saigon Water Infrastructure Corporation (SII) announced that Ho Chi Minh City Infrastructure Investment JSC (CII) registered to buy 1.99 million shares of SII from October 29 to November 27 to increase its ownership to 69.51 percent stake. Earlier, CII successfully bought 5.4 million shares of SII.

Societe De Bourbon Tay Ninh (SBT) announced that Mrs. Dang Huynh Uc My, the company’s chairwoman, registered to buy 2.8 million shares from October 30 to November 29 to increase her ownership ratio to 2.79 percent, or 3.9 million shares. Mrs. My currently holds 0.79 percent stake of SBT.

Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company (VSH) announced that VIAC (No.1) Limited Partnership registered to buy 6 million shares until November 22 to increase its ownership to 9.86 percent, or 20.34 million shares. This institution currently owns 6.95 percent stake of VSH.

Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (DHG) announced that in the third quarter of 2013, it posted post-tax profit of VND190 billion, 2.5 times higher than the same quarter last year, thanks to profits from selling its Eugica brand name to Mega Life Sciences in July this year for VND127.5 billion. In the first nine months, the company’s revenue touched VND2.2 trillion and net profit was at VND448 billion, up 20 percent and 25 percent year-on-year, respectively.

Nhi Hiep Brick-Tile JSC (NHC) announced that it will close the list of shareholders on November 8 to advance dividends in cash at a ratio of 10 percent on November 19. With more than 1.47 million shares floating on the northern bourse, the company will need VND1.47 billion for this dividend payment. In the first nine months of this year, NHC saw profit of VND3.4 billion.

PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (GAS) reported its business result in third quarter of 2013 with net revenue at VND15.14 trillion, up 1 percent, and gross profit at VND3.82 trillion, up nearly 20 percent. In the first nine months, its net revenue hit VND42.91 trillion, down 9 percent, while its gross profit reached VND12.03 trillion, up 24 percent.

According to Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PGBank) financial statement for third quarter of 2013, the company’s net profit was at VND119.5 billion in the third quarter and at VND440.6 billion in the first nine months of this year. Total asset of PGBank was more than VND19.2 trillion by the end of third quarter, a decrease of VND45 billion compared to that in the beginning of this year. Its outstanding loans exceeded VND13.05 trillion, down 5.6 percent since the beginning of this year.
