SCIC announces to sell Vinamilk's shares

The State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) announced the 130.63 million shares of the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) equal to 9 percent of its chartered capital will be on sale at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) on December 12 with the starting price at VND 144,000 per share (US$6.32).

The SCIC said individual investors or organizations can only register to buy a minimum of 20,000 shares and a maximum of over 39,189,150 shares (accounting for 2.7percent of chartered capital).

Accordingly, the Vinamilk's shares, introduced to clients by the SCIC, will reach VND 18,819billion.

Investors have to deposit 10 percent of the value of their registered shares at the initial opening price and starting depositing and registering on November 28 till December 9.
