Securities Commission slaps fine on two securities companies

The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) recently slapped penalty on two securities companies, namely Kenanga Vietnam Securities Company and MHB Securities Corporation.

Accordingly, Kenanga Vietnam Securities Company was fined VND195 million for not separating investor deposit account from company account, violating regulations on investment limits, and submitting report to SSC with false information.

The Commission also fined MHB Securities Corporation VND15 million for not arranging enough stockbrokers for each business field and not submitting resolutions of general meetings in 2011 and 2012.
