Vinatex, Saigontourist target to increase revenue in 2015

Vietnam National Textile & Garment Group (Vinatex) said it targets to reach US$ 3.6billion of export turnover in 2015 and increase up to US$ 5billion by 2020.

In 2015 alone, Vinatex plans to earn VND 55,000billion of revenue and the export turnover will achieve US$ 3.63billion, a rise of 10 percent compared to 2014.

Saigontourist Holding Company said it welcomed and served over 2.1million tourists in 2014, an increase of 6.8 percent compared to 2013.

Total turnover reached VND 16,366billion, up 7.1 percent, paid VND 2,634billion to the State budget, up 3.8 percent. Total revenue of river tourism earned VND 34billion with 20,175 tourists. 42 percent of them were foreigners.

In 2015, Saigontourist said it targets to welcome 2.3million tourists, bringing its revenue of VND 18trillion and is expected to pay around VND 2,750billion to the State budget.
