VN-Index rockets to near 926 points this morning

After increasing 13 points to exceed 900 points on the previous session, VN-Index continued raising 21.27 points this morning to hit 924.89 points with a slew of major stocks advancing in the HCMC Stock Exchange.

The morning session closed with 109 stocks edging up, 92 treading water and 145 losing. The focus of the market continued being real estate giant VinGroup (VIC) and its retail branch Vincom Retail (VRE).
VN30-Index hiked 17.63 points with 22 stocks increasing, one treading water and seven decreasing.
In Hanoi, HNX-Index slightly reduced by 0.04 points to 108.08 points with 54 shares up, 239 steady and 88 down. HNX30-Index increased 0.15 points to 203.5 points.
