Thai enterprises eye Vietnam market

The Ho Chi Minh City Enterpreneur Association (HCMCEA) yesterday in coordination with Thailand Industry & Trade promotion department organized conference to promote the cooperation between the two countries.

Over 60 thailand enterprises took part in seeking the partners and the opportunities in Vietnam in general and Ho chi Minh City in particular.

Mr Pham Ngoc Hung, deputy chairman of HCMCEA said, Viet Nam is currently the second-largest trading partner of Thailand in the ASEAN region. However, Vietnamese products'export tunover to Thailand was also very low compared to the potential of the two countries while the two countries have high-end science technology standards. He added the trade development between the two countries is expected to speed up in the upcoming times.
