Thailand Trade Fair Week was opened at Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City on July 9.

On display were more than 350 booths from 300 Thailand and Vietnam businessmen in the fields of consumer goods, foods, fruits and beverage, cosmetics, textiles and garment, car accessories, office supplies and others.
According to Ministry of Industry and Trade, bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and Thailand reached US$ 10, 6 billion in 2014, an increase of 12, 5 percent compared to 2013. In the first six months of this year, it touched US$ 5, 2 billion, a 8 percent rise in comparison to the same period last year.
Currently, Thailand is one of Vietnam’s largest import market and the second largest export market to Vietnam in ASEAN region.
