The plant’s construction aims to limit raw mineral exports, thoroughly exploit the country’s mineral resource values for artificial rutile and pigment production and steel refinement.

The plant construction covers 56,000 square meters and costs VND130 billion (US$6.11 million).

It is expected that the plant will produce 20,000 ton titanium per year; 10,400 ton cast iron and 11,500 ton alloy iron.

The project is predicted to increase the province’s state budget revenue and provide jobs to 180 local people.
