|The Ministry of Fisheries will control shrimp quality|
The Ministry decided that the focus of 2006 is on enhancing the capability and the efficiency on impurity control in shrimp before process in the factories in the Mekong Delta. The plan is expanded to other provinces in the next years.
The aim is to ensure the quality and hygienic safety in all stages of breeding, preservation and transport of aquatic materials.
Therefore, the Ministry will control 100 percent of shrimp entering the processing factories as well as examine the quality and inspect for impurities in shrimp at buying agencies in the Mekong Delta.
