Vietnam invests in 30 countries, territories

According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, in the first seven months of this year, Vietnamese enterprises have had 90 newly-licensed projects in 30 countries and territories with total capital of US$180.1 million.

Besides, there were 21 projects adjusting additional capital of $97.3 million. In total, Vietnamese outbound investment in the first seven months of this year reached $277.4 million.
Among countries and territories that received investments from Vietnam since the beginning of this year, Spain was the leader with $59.8 million, accounting for 21.6 percent of total investment; the US ranked second with $45.7 million, making up 16.5 percent; Australia came in third with $45.4 million, holding 16.4 percent; Cambodia followed with $38.5 million, or 13.9 percent; and Singapore tailed with $34.8 million, or 12.5 percent.
