Vietnam to become world's 22nd largest economy by 2050

Vietnam is predicted to stand in 22nd place among the world’s largest economies with highest GDP (Gross Domestic Product) by 2050, according to the accounting and consultancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)’s economic forecasts.

The report said that Vietnam and Nigeria are among countries having the fastest economic growth between now and 2050.

The Vietnamese economy is expected to get the 28th position in 2030 and 22nd place in 2050 after Thailand (21st) and the Philippines (20th).
