Vietnamese enterprise invests in coffee plantation in Angola

The Thai Hoa Group of Vietnam has coordinated with two groups from Brazil and Angola to grow coffee over 100,000 hectares in Angola for a period of 10 years, from 2012 to 2022, at a total investment of US$ 225 million.

The groups met in Hanoi on July 12 to sign a memorandum of understanding in the presence of representatives from the three government agencies, the Angolan and Brazilian ambassadors in Vietnam, and the Vietnamese ambassadors to Brazil and Angola.

The Vietnamese group’s two partners are the JN Brazil Angola LTDA Group and N'Gola M'zamba LDA Group which are enterprises specializing in agriculture technology and have a reputable management record in growing, processing and distributing agricultural goods.

For the first three years, the joint venture partnership company will cooperate to invest US$15 million to plant 6,000ha of coffee, and then proceed to cover 100,000ha by 2022.
