Vinamilk, Vietnam’s leading dairy products company, is currently the most chosen fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand in the country, according to a Kantar World Panel’s study announced on June 2.

Vinamilk is ranked in three categories including FMCG, beverage and food. This is the fourth time Kantar World Panel has published reports of FMCG since 2013 through studies on outstanding brand names in the fast moving consumer goods including 15,000 brand names and 200 indexes in 44 nations in the world.
In Asia, three leading dairy companies including Thailand’s Dutch Mill (Thai Lan), China’s Yili and Vietnam’s Vinamilk.
KWP’s report showed that the parameter measuring a brand name’s growth is penetration growth of consumers through opening more convenient stores at everywhere in the country. Moreover, it is also building of brand names through ads which help increasing consumers’ understanding of the company’s products.
Before, Vinamilk was written in Kantar Worldpanel’s Brand Footprint 2016. Last time, Vimamilk was granted investment license with additional capital of US$3 million into Driftwood, bringing Vinamilk’s investment to US$10 million and thus its ownership rate increased from 70 percent to 100 percent.
Vinamilk is targeting to be one of 50 biggest dairy companies in the world with turnover of US$3 billion.
