VN attracts 290 newly registered enterprises in January

In January, 2017, the country attracted 8,990 newly registered enterprises with total capital of VND 90.3trillion, an increase of 8.1 percent in number and 52.3 percent in reigstered capital value year-on-year.

The average capital of a newly established enterprise reached VND 10billion, an increase of 40.9 percent and 104,000 jobs were also created by the newly established enterprises.

In January alone, 5,564 enterprises, which suspended their activities due to difficulties, resumed operations, up 14.2 percent compared to last year, bringing total newly established and re-operated enterprises up to 14,600.
