VNA to add 110 flights during APEC events

The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines has announced that it will fly 110 additional flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang City from October 5-November 13 to meet increasing travel demand on the occasion of APEC Year 2017.

Accordingly, the national carrier will provide a total of 400,000 seats. The Hanoi-Da Nang route will see 64 flights with an average number of seats of 4,800 per day; the HCM City-Da Nang route has 44 flights with with an average number of seats of 6,000 per day.
The carrier will provide 50 flights departing every 30 minutes during the peak hour from November 6-11 when the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week opens in Da Nang.
Vietnam Airlines has been chosen as one of the major sponsors of APEC 2017, ensuring the easy transport of delegates from APEC's 21 Member Economies during the event.
