VNese President meets US enterprises

State President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang had a meeting with more than 60 large enterprises of the United States in Da Nang city yesterday.

The meeting was co- held by US- APEC Business Alliance and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the meeting, President Tran Dai Quang stressed that trade and investment cooperation has become an important foundation and motivation of Vietnam- US relationship relations; the United States becomes the leading trade partner of Vietnam and the seventh biggest foreign investor in the country. 

Vietnam welcomed US President Donald Trump and his state-level delegation to take part in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit 2017, marking the first visit of US President in the first year of his working term.
 
US President Donald Trump has also chose Vietnam as the first destination among the Southeast Asian countries. 

President Tran Dai Quang welcomed the US investors into the country in the fields of high technology, energy and infrastructure, suggesting that US- APEC Business Alliance continue seeking long- term investment as well as business opportunities, to strengthen investment of US enterprises in Vietnam. 

US enterprises highly appreciated good preparation for APEC summit 2017 as well as efforts of Vietnam in creating favorable business environment for US enterprises. 

US- APEC Business Alliance affirmed that the US enterprises would continue strengthening further comprehensive partnership relations in the coming time.
