1st Italia-ASEAN Week to be held in Vietnam

The 1st Italia-ASEAN Week will be held in Hanoi from November 18-December 4, announced the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam.

The event will include a series of activities, such as Italian cultural fair, science and technology conference, classical music concert and food tasting.
The science and technology conference on November 21 will introduce to the Vietnamese public the core issues of the Joint Bilateral Projects. The experts and academics will discuss the crucial issues of nutrition and food traceability fully in keeping with EXPO Milano 2015 philosophy and with Vietnam FoodExpo 2016, in which Italy participated as guest of honor.
Italian Cultural Fair on 18 and 19 November in Ly Thai To square will take the public along an exclusively designed path enriched by booths for Italian food and wine tasting, exhibitions of Italian design creations, musical performances, cultural presentations by Italian actors.
Meanwhile the classical music concert on November 23 at the Youth Theatre will feature a young, award-winning Italian pianist, Mr. Nazareno Ferruggio who will duet with the Vietnamese pianist Pham Quynh Trang.
The young Italian chef Marco Gallotta from Rome will introduce to the Vietnamese public some Italian traditional recipes, offering a unique experience of Italo-Asian gastronomic-contamination in the “Food Tasting” program on December 4
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the first "Italy-ASEAN Week" in 10 member countries of ASEAN. Each Italian Embassy operating in an ASEAN country will celebrate the event that aims to share with 10 Member States knowledge, experiences and enhance strong cooperation in all sectors.
The opening ceremony of the "Italy-ASEAN Week" will be held at Ly Thai To Flower Graden in Hanoi on November 18.
