Le Anh Dung, Dinh Thi Thanh Le and Pham Ha Linh were winners of the chamber music, folk music and pop music genres of the 2007 Sao Mai (Morning Star) singing contest.

Audiences voted Le Anh Dung as their “Favorite Singer”, whilst “Most Promising Singer” award went to Le Xuan Hao. The performances of four other participants including Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong, Tran Hoang Nghiep, Nguyen Duc Quang and Luong Thiet Quang received them automatic entry into the University of Army Culture and Arts.
The music-lovers had a wonderful night enjoying sweet melodies performed by nine winning singers of regional contests from the North and the South.
The nine include Nguyen Phuc Tiep, Nguyen Hien Anh, Bui Thu Huyen, Tran Thi Thu Ha, Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Pham Ha Linh from Ha Noi, Le Anh Dung from Thanh Hoa, Dinh Thi Thanh Le from Ha Tinh and Tran Hoang Nghiep from Can Tho.
Each of the nine competed in the climax of the nationally televised singing contest. Sao Mai (Morning Star) 2007 took place at the Vinpearl Resort in the central coast city of Nha Trang last night.
The Sao Mai (Morning Star) National Television Singing Contest takes place every two years and is organized by Viet Nam Television with the aim to uncover potential young music stars.
