Archeologists have found 14 tombs dating back to the second century CE filled with relics made of stone, bronze, and terracotta at a site in Ha Tinh Province.

The province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced May 20 that the objects were discovered at Bai Coi archeological site in Nghi Xuan District.

The archeologists also found a nearly undamaged terracotta food steamer.

They said the relics bear the typical features of the Dong Son Culture in the Ma River region near Hanoi, showing that Bai Coi was influenced by the two prehistoric cultures of Dong Son and Sa Huynh.
