2014 Japan Festival opens in city

The 2014 Japan Festival opened at 23/9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City on November 15.

Some 70 organizations and enterprises, including 50 Japanese businesses operating in both Japan and Vietnam took part in the event, aiming to introduce their products in fields such as education, cuisine, handicrafts, electronics, tourism services and culture.

The two day festival also introduces a series of cultural activities, such as Sakakibara and Bugakuza folk dances, Cosplay performances, and traditional Japanese cuisine.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Mr. Fukuda Hiroshi and Vietnam Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son attended the opening ceremony.
