Artists Tri Minh, Clara Bryld present private duet Jazz-Vocal performance

Tri Minh, Hanoi’s most successful international performer and Denmark’s jazz vocalist Clara Bryld will appear together on stage in a show at the Hanoi Social Club on November 4.

The artists have composed and performed original jazz-inspired works with Nordic tones and Oriental vibes. They recorded their compositions in June. Their Southeast Asia tour will begin in November with concerts in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Chiang Rai.

Tri Minh started his career as an artist in the early 1990s, as one of the initiators of Hanoi’s first jazz band. Towards the end of the 90s he started to experiment with electronic music and has since performed internationally as DJ and solo artist. He has several performances, from small concerts to large DJ dance performances.

Clara Bryld is a Danish singer, lyricist, and composer, based in Copenhagen. She released her debut album “On your wall” in Denmark in 2010. It was well received by the Danish press. The album was also nominated for a Danish Music Award Jazz in the category “Best Danish Cross-over Album” in 2011.

Clara Bryld was born at Frederiksberg in Copenhagen and was brought up in a musical, artistic and academic home. She began her musical training at the age of 6, where she started playing classical piano and singing in the local church choir. She got her first experiences performing music with the choir, as it toured Sweden, Norway, the Faroe Islands, and USA.
