Autumn Gala Opera and Ballet 2015 in Hanoi

A performance called ‘Autumn Gala Opera and Ballet 2015” will take place at Hanoi Opera House on October 8-9.

The concert will present fanous choruses and arias from the “Messiah”, is an English-language oratorio composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel, including “Sinfonia”, “And the glory of the Lord”, “For Unto Us A Child Is Born”,  “Rejoice greatly”, “Comfort you – Every valley”, “Glory to the God in the highes”, “He that dwelleth in heaven”, “Thou shalt break them with a rod”, “Since the man came death”, “I know that my redeemer liveth”, “Why do the nations”, “Hallelujah”, and “Amen”.

They will be performed by tenors Anh Vu and Thanh Binh, soprano Trang Tran, baritone Huy Duc, mezzo soprano Huyen Tram, the Hanoi International Choir and the orchestra and dancers of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet under baton of conductor Dong Quang Vinh.

There will be a contemporary ballet “Secret Garden” with the participation of dancers of the theater.
The ticket will be from VND200,000, VND350,000 to VND5000,000.
